Two whole years ago I helped Molly & John bring their wedding detail dreams to life with menus, a giant escort sign and place cards. For some reason I never got my hands on photos until now, and I had to share! They had a derby themed wedding (so cute!) that featured adorable drinks, custom napkins, and guests wearing festive attire. It was planned by A Moment In Time Weddings and all photos are by Bean and Cole.
I usually don’t make menus, but I jumped at the opportunity to print these ones in gold foil. Instead of saying “menu” along the top, they chose “Off to the Races” to go with the theme. Same with the top of the GIANT escort sign – truly the largest I’ve ever done. The event planning team provided the large wood boards, and I sourced the paper in ombre colors then added party names and table numbers. There was so much math, but I think the pay off was worth it.
Finally, the place cards were a simple folded place card with gold calligraphy. I LOVE the maroon with gold – it’s perfect for fall or winter!
Are you having a themed wedding? What is your favorite wedding detail?
