I’m back! Ok, I’ve been back for a little while now, but I haven’t had a lot of time for blogging. Now that I’m almost 11 weeks deep into mamahood, I figured I should introduce my little one! Meet Otto Riley Bosse, the new love of my life.

Otto was born 12 days “late” on February 17, 2018 at 8:12 a.m. in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He weighed in at a whopping 9lbs and was 21 inches long! He’s been growing like a weed, and we couldn’t be happier to have such a beautiful son. The photo above is of him at 10 days old… I can’t believe how little he looks!
We had the fabulous Amanda Dumouchelle come and take some photos of our new family… so here’s a few more because I can’t help myself!
Things are much different than I expected. For one, I thought he’d be asleep so much that it would be way easier to work during the day. Turns out, sleep is very unpredictable! I’m often working into the night after his bed time when my husband is home. If you check out my Instagram stories, you’ll occasionally see me sneaking in some work while he naps in the Ergobaby (my favorite thing) attached to me! Sometimes you gotta do what you’ve gotta do.
I’m trying to soak up every minute that I can with him since he is growing and changing so quickly. It’s been challenging to balance the deep desire to fully invest myself in enjoying my son and cultivating the business that I love. I’m finding that every day something has to give a little, and that that is ok. Life has seasons, and this one is a little rocky and unpredictable but also one of the best ones yet.
